April 10, 1680

April 10, 1680   Still at port. Found work as a guard for the local inn. Nights watch over a bunch of snoring lubbers. Captain said we'd be sailing soon. Possibly south. Ate the last of the potato and carrot I had saved. Managed a couple of eggs. Who knew gravy was so easy. Butter, flour and a bit of bone broth.
